Hot Crab and Shrimp Dip review by Yazminanela
I genuinely do not know what kind of heavenly inspiration went into this hot crab & shrimp dip, but whoever created it deserves some serious recognition because this dip is absolutely incredible. This is hands down the BEST dip I have ever had. And I'm not saying that lightly. We drive over 45 minutes specifically to come get this dip, and I would do it again without hesitation. Gas prices could double tomorrow and I'd probably still find a way to justify the trip. The second it hits the table, warm and bubbly, you already know you're about to experience something serious. It is unbelievably creamy, rich, gooey, and comforting in the best possible way. The crab and shrimp flavors come through perfectly without being overpowering, and they blend into the creamy base like they were always meant to be together. Every bite is warm, savory, cheesy seafood perfection. It honestly feels like being wrapped in a blanket and told everything is going to be okay. And then there's the warm pita bread. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Soft, warm, slightly chewy, absolutely delectable pita bread that is basically the perfect little vehicle for getting as much dip into your mouth as socially acceptable. The dip-to-pita ratio becomes a very serious calculation because running out of pita before running out of dip is a crisis I am not emotionally prepared for. There is no casually sharing this appetizer. You may order it "for the table," but once everyone takes their first bite, friendships are tested and survival instincts kick in. I have absolutely considered ordering my own separate one so I don't have to pretend I'm okay with everyone else eating it. The creaminess, the seafood flavor, the warmth, the texture, the pita bread…it all works together so perfectly. It is rich without being too heavy, seafood-forward without tasting overly fishy, and somehow every bite tastes just as good as the first one. I am convinced this dip has no business being this good. It is the kind of appetizer you think about randomly three days later. The kind you compare every other seafood dip to and immediately say, "Yeah…no. It's not THAT dip." 10/10. No notes. I would drive the 45+ minutes again, and I probably will. Whoever is responsible for this recipe deserves a raise, a trophy, and possibly their own national holiday.

Although we would have liked to have enjoyed it at the beginning of our meal, we did not till the end.... The waitress did not come check on us till the main dishes were served, we mentioned we didn't get our appetizer, and she came back with the order was misplaced to another table, although it was unfortunate, we did get the appetizer for free for the misplacement. Overall was good for our first time.

The firecracker shrimp was perfectly cooked from the inside to the out. The seasoning was flavorful and the sauce is the perfect combination to make your taste buds explode. Guarantees a second bite and double dipping. Highly recommended
